Dear Pastor Dan and members of Peace Lutheran Church,
What a wonderful surprise and gift it was to receive your special collection donation of $385. The board, staff, and guests of the Transitional Living Center extend a huge thank you for all your help. Like many nonprofit organizations at this time, we are struggling with finances. The Transitional Living Center has seen an increase of families, single women, and women with children seeking assistance, a place to live, and a sense of security. Our mission to help the homeless help themselves would not be possible without the compassion, kindness, and support of our area churches, organizations, and businesses.
Your donation and help truly is fulfilling Jesus’ command to feed the hungry, clothes the naked, and care for the widow and orphan. May God’s continued blessings be with you always.
