Love Inc update

  • As you are decorating for the Holidays, if you have any nonworking
    Christmas lights, donate them to Love.  They can sell them and this helps
    fund the Teachers Love program run by Lori Hintz.
  • They are in desperate need of winter coats, especially men’s and larger
    boys sizes.  Any coats or snow pants that you might have can be donated to Love and will be put to good use.
  • Usage at the food pantry is WAY up this year.  In 2007 they averaged 280
    families a month.  In October of 2008 they had 403 families use the pantry.
    with an the cost was $10,000 for that month.  They are in need of
    food and money to help keep the pantry going.
