Revisioning For Mission in the Greater Milwaukee Synod: Congregational Survey

I received the following survey at a recent event hosted by the Greater Milwaukee Synod and facilitated by A Renewal Enterprise. I hope that the people of Peace will honor the process of synodical and congregational revisioning by taking the time to ponder the following questions. If you have attended worship during the last two weeks you should have already had an opportunity to review the survey questions. I am placing these questions online in the hope that everyone will take time to seriously consider the issues facing our community.  Your answers will help shape the missional directions of our synod over the next several years.

If you look to the right side of the page you can see that I have also placed a version of the survey on the site (or you can click HERE) for those you prefer to do do things online.

1. What do you see happening  in your town or community that is breaking, God’s heart? In other words, what are the BIG ISSUES facing people in your community that we should be tackling together?

2. What do you see happening in your congregation that is breaking God’s heart? In other words, what are the BIG ISSUES facing your congregation that we should be tackling together?

3. What do you see happening in your town or community that is making God smile? In other words, what are the GOOD THINGS happening where you live and who is doing them?

4. What do you see happening in your congregation that is making God smile? In other words, what are the GOOD THINGS happening in your congregation and who is doing them?

5. Make a list of the greatest gifts God has given to your congregation. In other words, what assets, passions, and resources does your congregation have that could be put to work in order to make a difference in your community?
