March 3rd, 2009 Posted in announcementsAbout Aaron: Aaron Deutsch is a freshman at Burlington High School. He started his first year at high school by running cross-country. He had a-great first season, getting faster with every race.’ Over the Christmas holiday they discovered he has ALL leukemia. His friends, teammates and coaches from cross country wanted to help. We are holding this fun run/walk ‘ to raise money to help Aaron in his fight against leukemia. So please join us and put your best foot forward for Aaron!
About the Race: The course will start and end on high school property and is primarily flat but a trail course, little or no pavement. There will be no race timing so wear your watches. Walkers, wagons and strollers are especially welcome in this family event. Sorry but no dogs will be allowed.
Location: Burlington High School. Contact the high; school for printed directions.
Time: Race day registration will begin at 9 am; The 5K Fun Run/Walk will begin at 12 noon.
Registration: $15 minimum donation per person or $30 per family (family of four) Registration forms can be picked up in the Athletic Office at Burlington High School.
Race Packets: Packets and shirts may be picked, up at registration area on race day.
Awards: Medals to the top 10 males and females.
Benefit All proceeds will benefit the Aaron Deutsch Family in their fight against Aaron’s leukemia.
