Prepare for the Next First Sunday-Food Sunday

Thanks for your donations to the First Sunday-Food Sunday collection for Love, Inc. We’ve received some great items. Did you know March is National Noodle Month – donate a package of noodles (and some sauce to cover the noodles), pasta side dishes, or cans of spaghetti/ravioli/etc.
Special days in March are:
March 1 – Peanut Butter Lovers Day (donate a jar of peanut butter)
March 4 – Poundcake Day (donate a cake mix; can of frosting)
March 6 – Oreo cookies were first sold in 1912 (donate a package of cookies or a cookie mix)
March 14 – Potato Chip Day (donate a bag of potato chips)
March 16 – Chocolate Covered Raisins Day (donate chocolate covered raisins or plain raisins)
March 25 – Pancakes were first made in New York City in 1882 (donate a box of pancake mix, and some syrup to go with it)
March 30 – Doctors Day (donate some applesauce) Remember an apple a day keeps the doctor away?
March 31 – Tater Day (donate a box of instant mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, etc.)
Since March is also Lenten season and we’re having soup suppers every Wednesday, how about donating a couple cans of soup?
