First Sunday-Food Sunday
We delivered 145 items to the Love Inc. food pantry this past week. Included were 19 cans of vegetables (mostly diced tomatoes), 13 boxes of cereal, 12 cans/jars of fruit, 11 packages of spaghetti/pasta noodles, 11 jars of baby food, 10 packages of instant/scalloped potatoes, 9 cans of beef stew/chicken & dumplings/tuna, 6 cans of soup (mostly chicken broth), 4 jars of spaghetti sauce, 4 jars of peanut butter, 4 boxes of macaroni & cheese, plus other miscellaneous food items.
Also donated were 4 bars of soap and 1 chapstick.

Community Blood Drive
The next Burlington Community Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Veterans Terrace, 589 Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington. Please contact the Blood Center of Wisconsin at 1-877-232-4376 for appointment and information. Appointments are encouraged. Donate here to keep our local community blood supply at a safe level. Please bring a photo ID at the time of donation. Walk-ins are welcome.
