Women’s Retreat Weekend at Pine Lake Camp in Waupaca WI will be held August 21-22, 2010. A second retreat is scheduled for September 17-19, 2010.
Twenty-third Annual Southeast Wisconsin WELCA Convention will be held Friday and Saturday, October 1-2, 2010 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Muskego, WI, Theme is Fill My Cup Lord. Early bird registration due August 9; registration deadline is August 31.
Eighth Triennial Convention & Gathering will be July 12-14, 2011 in Spokane, Washington. Theme is Renew, Respond, Rejoice

Lutherdale Fest/Quilt Auction
Get ready for the 24th Annual Lutherdale Fest/Quilt Auction on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ways you can help -
- Make and donate a quilt (deadline to submit quilt is July 15, 2010)
- Put together silent-auction theme baskets (deliver to Lutherdale by July 15)
- Contribute crafts and quilters’ odds ‘n ends
- Volunteer to work during the Fest on Friday, August 13 or Saturday, August 14 or both
Forms for donating items are posted in the narthex. All forms for donated items must be at Lutherdale by July 15. Lutherdale is located at N7891 U.S. Highway 12, Elkhorn, WI 53121. Check the website for more information. www.lutherdale.org.

Community Blood Drive
The next Burlington Community Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Veterans Terrace on Milwaukee Avenue. Please contact the Blood Center of Wisconsin at 1-877-232-4376 for appointment and information. Appointments are encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome. Donate here to keep our local community blood supply at a safe level. Please bring a photo ID at the time of donation.

Grocery shop to help raise funds for special projects at Peace
Shop at the Sentry store in Burlington? Please be sure to ask for a sticker on your cash register receipt. Bring the receipt to church and place in the basket above the water fountain (or bubbler, if you prefer) in the narthex.
Shop at the Pick-N-Save store in Burlington? Use your rewards card. A percentage of your purchase will be donated to Peace Women if you have asked to have your card registered to 611725. You can check at the courtesy counter if you don’t remember which group you picked to receive the Pick-N-Save donation.
Money raised through these efforts have been used to donate $1000.00 to the Roof Fund, provide Christmas treats to the Sunday School program, and donate towards the youth mission trip.
