Mark Driscoll, pastor at Mars Hill Church in Seattle is preaching a sermon series on the essential doctrines of Christianity. The first in the series is a discussion of what it means to know God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This sermon is about as accessible as it gets when it comes to this essential teaching of Holy Scripture. Driscoll is always entertaining… and challenging. This sermon is not for the faint of heart. Don’t go to this site and expect some kind of wishy-washy “invitation to dialogue” with other religions/worldviews…this is a sermon in which he is seeking to persuade people about the truth of Christianity by teaching the Scriptures. Driscoll models personal humility combined with a boundless confidence in God’s word. I particularly liked the last section on what it means to live the Trinitarian life. Please watch the entire 60 minutes and let me know what you think. Pr. Dan
